Grab your binoculars and get ready to strut your stuff in the Garden with the Illawarra Birders on June 3rd. We're going to spend an hour trying to catch a glimpse of our feathered friends while dodging the pesky mozzies and soaking up some sunshine. Make sure to bring your cameras because you'll want to immortalise those moments when you finally spot that elusive magpie or your old mate, the cockatoo. And hey, if you snap a photo that would make a birdwatcher's heart skip a beat, don't be shy—share it with us using #wollongongbotanicgarden .

We'll kick things off at our Education Centre, which is conveniently located near the Madoline Street entrance. So, if you're ready to channel your inner bird geek and chat about the local wildlife while pretending you're David Attenborough, this walk is just for you. Who knows, you might even learn a fun fact or two to drop at your next awkward dinner party. See you there, bird nerds.
