Kids spend all day cooped up in classrooms, staring at screens and desks, so when the bell rings, they deserve a proper escape. The from Bush Magic, happening right here in Wollongong on December 11, 2025, is basically that breath of fresh air—literally. It's an after-school setup at the Garden where little ones can shake off the school blues by running around, letting their wild imaginations loose, and just being kids in the great outdoors, without a worksheet in sight.

This program's all about letting children take the lead in a nature-focused vibe, chasing whatever sparks their curiosity through good old-fashioned play. Along the way, it sneaks in some fun bush-craft tricks, chats about the local plants and critters, and a gentle nudge towards caring for the environment—think less lecture, more muddy adventures that might even trick them into learning something useful.
