The Red Point Arts crew is wheeling out their monthly Makers' Market once more. It's usually on the second Saturday of the month, running from a very civilised 10am right up until 2.30pm. You'll spot it kicking off in the courtyard at The Wentworth, which is located at 100 Wentworth Street in Port Kembla, if you're ever in the neighbourhood.

Expect a decent sprawl of art and craft stalls across their rather lovely grassed courtyard. You might even stumble upon some artists actually creating things in their open studios, which is far more exciting than watching paint dry, usually. For those with a penchant for culture, there are free exhibitions housed in the Red Point Gallery, and a bit of live music will be humming away in the background. Little Thai at Port will be on hand to sort out any rumbling tummies. And just so you know, they've gone all out to make it kid friendly and pet friendly, so bring the whole mob, fur and all. Plus, it's an all weather shindig, so a bit of typical Wollongong sunshine or drizzle won't spoil the fun.
